I am finally pregnant after many iuis and 2 IVFs including an early MC . At 6 weeks 5 days we saw a heart beat. Everything looked good but the crl measured 3 days behind. I asked for a follow up scan 5 days later and this time we were 4 days behind. Doc said all looked good but I can’t help but worry something is wrong.. Thoughts?
Hi, Kate. First of all I want to give you a hug for seeing that heartbeat on ultrasound. That is a big accomplishment after many efforts and disappointments. Now is more waiting. And waiting. There is another hard part of this journey. Please keep asking for ultrasounds or Doppler monitoring. You and I know that you will need extra reassurance and data as this pregnancy continues. This is a high investment pregnancy in many ways. It is normal and right to be worried and vigilant. Don’t let anyone tell you to relax, now that you are pregnant. I know that you will relax only when you have a squawking baby in your arms. Have some hope and I will do the same for you. Does this hope?
