Acupuncture, Arvigo ™, Reiki, and Nutrition
Amy DePoint L.Ac. knew what her life’s work was at a very young age. Collecting herbs and plants from the woods and meadows and reading all things that related to healing, she tried to help everyone and every animal that she knew. In 2005, she graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University with a Masters in Oriental Medicine. Soon after, she decided to devote her practice to women’s health, in particular fertility, high risk pregnancy and birth. In 2014, after 9 years of owning and operating Heal Oriental Medicine, a women’s health and fertility clinic in Minneapolis and St. Paul, she went on a sabbatical to Los Angeles, California. She used this time to learn about women’s health from other ancient healing traditions. She also dove deep into studying the root cause of illness and hormone disruption from experts in a wide variety of specialties, all of whom push the envelope in their field and ask the hard questions about how the body works and how to optimize health and well-being. After a brief stay in Rochester, MN, she is now practicing back in the Twin Cities with partners (in)fertility.
Upon return to the metro area, she was able to reestablish connections with the area’s reproductive clinics and specialists. These relationships, along with the services she offers, allow Amy to guide people to their health and well-being goals and provide them with resources and insights. She has been trusted by the area’s leading fertility and birth professionals for over a decade to provide the best for their patients. These services include acupuncture and herbal medicine, Arvigo ™ Technique Maya Abdominal Therapy (ATMAT), Reiki, and coaching in areas of lifestyle, food and proper supplements, unique to each individual.
She also takes the wisdom from her studies and her life experiences – growing her own family through donor IUI and ICI cycles – to do fertility coaching world wide.
When she’s not working and getting way too wrapped up in gut health and estrogen pathways, she’s being a wife and a mom to two energetic kids, coercing those kids and wife to try her kitchen creations, food and medicinal, and running around in any green space she can find in her new home.
